Key Features of our Truck Insurance

GIO provides two types of truck insurance cover:

Comprehensive cover
Legal Liability Cover

You can also choose to Pay by the Month. Fees and charges apply.

Truck Insurance Cover type	Covers
Comprehensive Cover^* (Part A and B)	Covers you for loss of or damage to the insured vehicle caused by an event in the period of insurance. Includes Legal Liability Cover (Part B) as outlined below.
Legal Liability Cover^* (Part B only)	Legal Liability covers your legal liability for damage caused to another person's property and associated legal costs up to $30M. Covers your legal liability for personal injury caused by the insured vehicle, and associated legal costs, to a maximum of $30M (provided Compulsory Third Party Insurance does not apply). Covers your legal liability for property damage or personal injury as a result of the insured vehicle carrying dangerous goods, to a maximum of $300,000 (we may allow this limit to be increased, subject to payment of an extra premium). Covers you up to $5000 for damage to the insured vehicle caused by an uninsured driver, provided you are able to identify the driver responsible and their vehicle.
